Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement pharmacy benefits effectively.
  • Provide support for escalated and complex pharmacy benefit issues.
  • Contribute to annual corporate projects for pharmacy benefit refresh initiatives.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure timely updates to management.
  • Lead pharmacy operations for web content updates and audits.
  • Audit prescription drug benefit plans and ensure accurate setup.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor and resolve compliance issues, providing updates to management.
  • Engage in activities focused on client retention and new sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and implement pharmacy benefits in collaboration with team members.
  • Address escalated and complex issues related to pharmacy benefits.
  • Participate in corporate projects for pharmacy benefit refresh and updates.
  • Maintain and update project plans, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Lead operational tasks for web updates and audits of benefit plans.
  • Audit prescription drug benefit setups for accuracy and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field; 7 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits and operational processes.
  • Proficiency in auditing and compliance monitoring for pharmacy plans.
  • Experience in project management and maintaining documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and address client needs.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations for commercial pharmacy plans.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
