Overview

  • Analyze and recommend investment-grade and high-yield corporate bonds to outperform market benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop and implement investment strategies.
  • Provide thorough research and analysis to support global investment decisions.
  • Engage with industry sources to capture and develop new investment ideas.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct fundamental credit analysis with financial modeling to identify profitable corporate bonds.
  • Prepare in-depth earnings reports including financial projections and credit valuation.
  • Present detailed company reports to portfolio managers for investment strategy discussions.
  • Collaborate with global teams to provide timely and thorough research insights.
  • Liaise with industry sources to gather and interpret market information.
  • Proactively develop and present new investment ideas to management.
  • Utilize Bloomberg and other automated research tools to enhance investment analysis.
  • Adapt to changes and excel in a collaborative team environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, fixed income, and fund investing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel, Bloomberg, and automated research tools.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills.
  • Ability to present persuasive recommendations for profitable investments.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive with a collaborative mindset.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes and contribute to a global team.
  • Experience in both buy-side and sell-side corporations is advantageous.
