Overview
- Provide essential support to academic operations, focusing on registrar processes and major academic events coordination.
- Assist in graduation clearance processes and maintain accurate student and program data records.
- Prepare and distribute event-related communications, ensuring timely and effective dissemination of information.
- Support the execution of major academic events such as Commencement and Research Celebration events.
- Utilize office productivity tools to manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations efficiently.
- Coordinate summer programming logistics, ensuring smooth execution of activities and events.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive materials and communications.
- Adapt to changing priorities and challenges, collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist with student clearance processes leading up to major academic events.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets tracking student and program data accurately.
- Prepare and distribute communications related to events and programming.
- Support the preparation of materials for events such as Commencement and Research Celebration.
- Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools for efficient document and communication management.
- Coordinate logistics for summer programming and monitor deadlines and schedules.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth execution of assigned tasks and activities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, preferably in Arts or Sciences.
- Minimum two years of experience in an office environment, preferably in academia.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
