Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee patient access operations, including admissions, registration, and billing processes.
  • Implement strategies to optimize revenue cycle and enhance hospital performance.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough registration data for seamless patient care and billing.
  • Conduct audits and reconciliations to maintain data integrity and compliance.
  • Address and resolve operational issues, providing education to staff and stakeholders.
  • Monitor department performance metrics and implement improvement measures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance patient experience.
  • Lead the team in achieving monthly and annual operational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in patient access or admissions in an acute care setting.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations.
  • Preferred certifications include CRCE or CHAM.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle and billing processes.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and drive operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
