Job Description

Overview

  • Manage electronic payments, including wire transfers and ACH transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external sources to verify payment instructions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate accurate daily, weekly, and monthly payment reports to support audit requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with NACHA rules, OFAC regulations, and organizational security controls.
  • Utilize treasury workstation and bank software for transaction processing and reporting.
  • Ensure data accuracy and timeliness in all payment operations.
  • Support the treasury department in achieving operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in payment operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Initiate and process domestic wire transfers and ACH payments based on priority levels.
  • Prepare and upload ACH payment files for interest postings.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or failures promptly.
  • Generate and maintain payment reports to meet audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with NACHA rules, OFAC regulations, and internal security controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external sources to verify payment instructions.
  • Maintain proficiency in treasury workstation and bank software systems.
  • Support the treasury department in achieving operational goals and compliance standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking, treasury, or payment operations.
  • Proficiency in treasury workstation and bank software, including Kyriba and Cash Pro Online.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy in payment operations.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, NACHA rules, and internal control practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve common goals.
