Job Description

Overview

  • Lead investment operations for private deal accounting and lifecycle events.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate transaction processing.
  • Manage cash positioning, fund deal transactions, and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement KPIs and SLAs for operational excellence.
  • Forecast cash balances and ensure availability for transactions.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance workflows.
  • Provide training and develop team members for optimal performance.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Translate deal documents into accurate accounting records.
  • Record investment proceeds and lifecycle events in the accounting system.
  • Process cash movements through legal entity structures.
  • Coordinate funding and closing of private deal transactions.
  • Stage FX orders to manage cash and hedge currency risks.
  • Forecast cash balances and prevent account overdrafts.
  • Develop and implement KPIs and SLAs for process improvement.
  • Address operational issues and implement process enhancements.
  • Train team members and document procedures effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in investment operations.
  • Preferred 10 years of experience in related roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of private deal accounting and lifecycle events.
  • Experience in cash positioning and FX order staging.
  • Ability to develop KPIs and SLAs for operational success.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
