- Oversee a team of 3-4 payroll professionals, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing using CMiC Construction Software or Sage Timberline.
- Administer employee benefits and address related inquiries effectively.
- Perform audits and generate reports to support compliance and decision-making.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and labor laws to maintain organizational compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize payroll systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations specific to the construction industry.
- Administer employee benefits and handle related inquiries.
- Oversee and optimize timekeeping systems to ensure accurate tracking of hours worked.
- Utilize payroll software to process payroll accurately and efficiently.
- Stay updated on tax regulations to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Perform data entry and maintain payroll records to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to provide insights and support decision-making.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, preferably with labor unions and collective bargaining agreements.
- Proficiency in CMiC Construction Software or Sage Timberline.
- Strong reporting and auditing skills to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Experience in team management and leadership.
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.
