Job Description

Overview

  • Manage financial operations, fund accounting, and trade lifecycle processes within a dynamic investment management environment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external fund administrators to ensure accurate financial oversight and reporting.
  • Support credit strategies and loan trade execution, settlement, and accounting processes.
  • Provide leadership in implementing and optimizing financial systems, including Geneva accounting platform.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a robust finance and operations infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards in all operational activities.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders to support organizational goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee fund accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Manage the trade lifecycle, including execution, settlement, and reporting activities.
  • Coordinate with fund administrators to facilitate seamless financial operations.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams to align strategies and optimize workflows.
  • Implement and maintain financial systems, with a focus on Geneva platform utilization.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support credit and loan strategy initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting or financial operations.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience with exposure to credit and loan strategies.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, with Geneva platform experience being highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes and fund administration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex financial operations.
