Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate law student and entry-level hiring processes for a professional services firm.
  • Support summer associate programs, including planning, training, and event coordination.
  • Maintain recruitment database and ensure accurate and timely data management.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and staff on talent development initiatives.
  • Organize and oversee logistics for recruitment events and presentations.
  • Manage applicant correspondence and process expense reimbursements.
  • Provide statistical data and complete surveys for recruitment reporting.
  • Assist with onboarding processes, including orientation schedules and background checks.
  • Handle special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate on-campus interview dates and prepare materials for attorneys.
  • Organize law student outreach and sponsorship events.
  • Prepare law student candidate files for interview processes.
  • Support summer associate program planning and implementation.
  • Manage candidate application information and ensure database accuracy.
  • Coordinate logistics for recruitment meetings and presentations.
  • Assist with new associate hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Collaborate on strategic talent development initiatives across offices.
  • Handle applicant inquiries and manage post-applicant correspondence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Prior recruiting experience preferred; legal recruiting experience ideal.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and social media platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours during peak recruitment periods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
