Overview

  • Lead preconstruction efforts for multifamily housing and mixed-use projects, ensuring alignment with development goals and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project planning and execution strategies.
  • Provide expertise in cost estimation, scheduling, and resource allocation for diverse construction projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout preconstruction phases.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes for large-scale developments.
  • Support the client’s vision for innovative and sustainable construction practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage preconstruction activities, including feasibility studies, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to refine project designs and specifications.
  • Oversee procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing challenges and implementing solutions to maintain timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting project milestones and outcomes.
  • Lead negotiations with contractors and vendors to secure favorable terms and agreements.
  • Ensure alignment of preconstruction activities with the client’s strategic objectives and operational standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in preconstruction or construction management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in cost estimation, scheduling, and resource allocation for multifamily housing projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel as required for project needs.
