Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a Procurement Specialist, managing sourcing, purchasing, vendor relations, and contract coordination to ensure efficient acquisition of goods and services.
  • Support procurement operations for a dynamic organization, ensuring compliance with company policies and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal and Information Security, for contract reviews and approvals.
  • Utilize procurement tools like Coupa and SAP to manage transactions and vendor records effectively.
  • Contribute to supplier onboarding, performance reviews, and resolution of invoice discrepancies.
  • Engage in negotiations for agreements and renewals, ensuring favorable terms for the organization.
  • Provide administrative support to the procurement team and assist with special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including requisition intake, sourcing, quote analysis, and purchase order creation.
  • Process and oversee purchasing transactions in Coupa, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Identify and evaluate vendors, obtaining quotes and coordinating RFx processes.
  • Negotiate standard agreements and renewals in collaboration with Procurement leadership.
  • Coordinate contract reviews and approvals with Legal and Information Security teams.
  • Support supplier onboarding and vendor setup in SAP, maintaining accurate records.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor-related issues through effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Assist with supplier performance reviews and provide general administrative support to the Procurement team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in procurement tools like Coupa and SAP is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management and purchasing processes.
  • Familiarity with IT, software, hardware, professional services, and consulting procurement.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
  • Ability to work onsite four days a week and adapt to dynamic environments.
