Overview
- Serve as a Procurement Specialist, managing sourcing, purchasing, vendor relations, and contract coordination to ensure efficient acquisition of goods and services.
- Support procurement operations for a dynamic organization, ensuring compliance with company policies and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal and Information Security, for contract reviews and approvals.
- Utilize procurement tools like Coupa and SAP to manage transactions and vendor records effectively.
- Contribute to supplier onboarding, performance reviews, and resolution of invoice discrepancies.
- Engage in negotiations for agreements and renewals, ensuring favorable terms for the organization.
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team and assist with special projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including requisition intake, sourcing, quote analysis, and purchase order creation.
- Process and oversee purchasing transactions in Coupa, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Identify and evaluate vendors, obtaining quotes and coordinating RFx processes.
- Negotiate standard agreements and renewals in collaboration with Procurement leadership.
- Coordinate contract reviews and approvals with Legal and Information Security teams.
- Support supplier onboarding and vendor setup in SAP, maintaining accurate records.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor-related issues through effective communication with stakeholders.
- Assist with supplier performance reviews and provide general administrative support to the Procurement team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement; 10 years preferred.
- Proficiency in procurement tools like Coupa and SAP is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management and purchasing processes.
- Familiarity with IT, software, hardware, professional services, and consulting procurement.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to work onsite four days a week and adapt to dynamic environments.
