Overview
- Provide clinical supervision and professional nursing care to patients in a dynamic healthcare setting.

- Coordinate daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and team huddles.
- Administer medications and treatments, document patient progress, and review medical records.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Provide mentorship and training to care team staff, fostering professional growth and development.
- Support efforts to maintain patient safety and quality of care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Medical Assistants (MAs), managing schedules and PTO requests.
- Delegate tasks within licensure scope and ensure completion through follow-up.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, coordinating care plans and interventions.
- Conduct daily huddles, review patient charts, and manage clinical supplies inventory.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
- Document progress notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) within 24 hours.
- Ensure infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards are upheld.
- Provide feedback for performance evaluations and assist in staff training and discipline.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution required.
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital or ambulatory settings required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.
- Skill in applying nursing principles and techniques to provide ongoing patient care.
- Ability to work independently, make clinical decisions, and delegate tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for patient care and team collaboration.
