Overview

- Participate in applicant screening, training, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants, ensuring adherence to nursing standards.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure their completion within the care team.
- Manage daily operations, including scheduling and inventory control.
- Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and document care in the Electronic Health Record.
- Coordinate care team huddles and review patient charts for completeness.
- Prepare materials and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide training and mentorship to care team staff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in hospital or ambulatory settings.
- Current, unrestricted licensure in the State of New York as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of nursing theory, regulations, and practices.
- Proficiency in infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions effectively.
