Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Direct and oversee the Maternal Child Services department's daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the department.
- Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the department.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.
- Active RN license in the state of practice or compact license.
- Minimum of 5 years of recent leadership experience in Women Services.
- Experience managing high-acuity facilities with over 3500 births annually.
- Certification in area of specialty preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to achieve and maintain BCLS certification.
- Proven ability to manage resources in a fiscally responsible manner.
