Job Description

Overview

  • Lead diverse commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage project execution, including cost control, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, contract requirements, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases.
  • Provide strategic leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Oversee project cost reporting, forecasting, and change management processes effectively.
  • Coordinate closely with preconstruction and estimating teams to ensure seamless project transitions.
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch list completion and turnover documentation.
  • Contribute to the success of technically complex projects within a dynamic and team-oriented culture.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and work plans to ensure successful execution.
  • Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and scope alignment processes effectively.
  • Coordinate project meetings with owners, designers, and trade partners to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Review submittals, RFIs, and pay applications to maintain project compliance and quality.
  • Ensure adherence to safety requirements and quality standards throughout all project phases.
  • Oversee project cost reporting, forecasting, and change management processes effectively.
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch list completion and turnover documentation.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams during project turnover for seamless execution.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer in commercial construction.
  • Experience with healthcare, education, industrial, mission-critical, or large commercial projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost control principles.
  • Proficiency with construction management software platforms is essential.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Monthly vehicle allowance and exposure to high-profile, technically complex projects offered.
