Overview
- Lead diverse commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage project execution, including cost control, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, contract requirements, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases.
- Provide strategic leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Oversee project cost reporting, forecasting, and change management processes effectively.
- Coordinate closely with preconstruction and estimating teams to ensure seamless project transitions.
- Support project closeout activities, including punch list completion and turnover documentation.
- Contribute to the success of technically complex projects within a dynamic and team-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and work plans to ensure successful execution.
- Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and scope alignment processes effectively.
- Coordinate project meetings with owners, designers, and trade partners to ensure alignment and progress.
- Review submittals, RFIs, and pay applications to maintain project compliance and quality.
- Ensure adherence to safety requirements and quality standards throughout all project phases.
- Oversee project cost reporting, forecasting, and change management processes effectively.
- Support project closeout activities, including punch list completion and turnover documentation.
- Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams during project turnover for seamless execution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer in commercial construction.
- Experience with healthcare, education, industrial, mission-critical, or large commercial projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost control principles.
- Proficiency with construction management software platforms is essential.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
