Overview

  • Lead estimation processes for diverse construction projects, ensuring precision and efficiency in cost analysis and planning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and cost-effective project strategies.
  • Analyze project specifications to determine material, labor, and time requirements comprehensively.
  • Provide detailed cost breakdowns and insightful reports to stakeholders and management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare comprehensive project estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Review architectural and engineering plans to assess project scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and optimize budgets.
  • Monitor project budgets and recommend adjustments to align with financial goals.
  • Participate in project planning meetings to provide valuable estimation insights.
  • Ensure all estimates align with project timelines and deliverables effectively.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; advanced education in construction or engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation or related field.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost assessments.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and project teams.
  • Knowledge of multifamily construction industry standards and practices.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments effectively.
