Job Description

Overview

  • Lead investment operations for private debt funds, ensuring seamless workflows and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes and implement innovative automation solutions.
  • Act as a strategic leader, providing guidance and resolving operational challenges effectively.
  • Coordinate with external managers and custodians to ensure efficient transaction execution.
  • Support investment teams during transaction closings with detailed analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure loan allocations comply with established policies and portfolio guidelines.
  • Manage cash instructions, including subscriptions, redemptions, FX transactions, and liquidity monitoring.
  • Coordinate transaction execution with external managers, administrators, and custodians.
  • Drive workflow enhancements and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide analytical support during transaction closings and respond to information requests promptly.
  • Assist in generating detailed reports and managing daily operations of the debt platform.
  • Foster team collaboration and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines while effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in investment operations.
  • Proficiency in cash and liquidity management, FX hedging, and capital call processes.
  • Experience in middle office or investment operations within asset management firms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of private debt asset class and fund accounting is advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and influence team members.
