Job Description

Overview

  • Support middle office operations in a leading financial services firm, ensuring efficient trade execution and portfolio management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational workflows and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform daily reconciliations and valuations to ensure portfolio accuracy and integrity.
  • Contribute to system enhancement projects, improving technology workflows and operational processes.
  • Manage investment accounting activities, including position setup and transaction processing.
  • Provide detailed reporting to senior management, offering insights into portfolio performance and operational metrics.
  • Assist in financial transactions, such as deal closings, cash movements, and expense management.
  • Support compliance and risk management strategies to ensure adherence to industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Set up and manage investment positions within the Order Management System (OMS).
  • Process investment transactions accurately within accounting systems.
  • Perform daily reconciliations across diverse portfolios to ensure operational integrity.
  • Price and value portfolio positions, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Generate and deliver daily performance reports to senior management.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new investment partnerships.
  • Participate in system implementation projects to enhance operational workflows.
  • Support financial transactions, including cash movements and wire requests.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in asset management; 8 years preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of trade lifecycle and middle office operations.
  • Experience with financial systems implementation and optimization.
  • Proficiency in investment accounting systems and OMS platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial operations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Familiarity with compliance, risk management, and valuation processes.
