Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for diverse IT systems and applications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems and network configurations.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot VoIP systems and other communication tools.
- Document technical activities and resolutions accurately within the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with higher-level support teams to address complex technical challenges.
- Travel to client locations to provide exceptional technical service and support.
- Assist with hardware installations, upgrades, and relocations ensuring minimal disruption.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or help desk roles; 5 years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts like DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and common business software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for client site visits.
- Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent.
- Experience with RMM tools, Active Directory, and remote desktop solutions.
- Familiarity with backup systems such as Acronis, Datto, and Veeam.
