Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop architectural designs and documentation for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver innovative solutions for renovation and new construction projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and other design tools to produce accurate and efficient project drafts.
  • Incorporate client and stakeholder feedback to refine project deliverables effectively.
  • Participate in project meetings, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Ensure timely completion of project milestones while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Travel occasionally to project sites to oversee progress and ensure quality standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial architecture; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; familiarity with Photoshop, SketchUp, and Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Experience with retail architectural projects is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for project-related needs.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
  • Registration or ability to become registered as an architect is preferred.
