Job Description

Overview

  • Lead architectural projects, ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and ADA requirements.
  • Collaborate with design and technical teams to provide innovative solutions.
  • Manage contract administration phases and oversee budget adherence.
  • Coordinate engineering consultant work to meet design objectives.
  • Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Conduct client interviews to determine technical design requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of documents and adherence to project timelines.
  • Support field surveys under specific circumstances.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Create and review contract documents for compliance with standards.
  • Oversee CD production and review for smaller projects.
  • Coordinate with senior staff to resolve design challenges.
  • Manage contract administration budgets and report variances.
  • Ensure engineering consultant work aligns with design solutions.
  • Mentor junior designers and oversee their tasks.
  • Conduct client interviews to gather design requirements.
  • Provide feedback on work products and ensure quality standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent experience.
  • Licensed Architect with 10+ years of experience in corporate interior design.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office Suite.
  • Advanced skills in interior architecture detailing and contract administration.
  • Extensive knowledge of design principles, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior staff effectively.
  • Intermediate presentation and graphic communication skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
