Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operations and performance at a clinical research site specializing in internal medicine trials.
  • Ensure compliance with ICH guidelines, GCP, FDA regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to meet study milestones and deliver quality data.
  • Oversee site staff management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address emerging risks.
  • Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in strategic planning, risk mitigation, and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Provide leadership in payroll, absence tracking, and operational training needs.
  • Support site activation, enrollment targets, and operational efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage site operations and drive performance, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with departments to meet study milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor dashboards and systems to ensure timely execution of clinical trials.
  • Oversee resource allocation, site assignments, and team performance.
  • Provide training on protocols, SOPs, and clinical guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Assess staff compliance and develop corrective action plans as needed.
  • Handle people management activities, including hiring, performance reviews, and career coaching.
  • Collaborate with investigators to ensure patient safety and study goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field required.
  • Minimum 7 years of clinical research experience, with 2 years in management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, electronic health records, and web tools.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
  • Experience managing site operations, KPIs, and employee performance.
  • Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Open to relocation and on-site work arrangement.
