Overview
- Lead operations and performance at a clinical research site specializing in internal medicine trials.
- Ensure compliance with ICH guidelines, GCP, FDA regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with department leaders to meet study milestones and deliver quality data.
- Oversee site staff management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address emerging risks.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols and guidelines.
- Participate in strategic planning, risk mitigation, and problem-solving initiatives.
- Provide leadership in payroll, absence tracking, and operational training needs.
- Support site activation, enrollment targets, and operational efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage site operations and drive performance, efficiency, and compliance.
- Coordinate with departments to meet study milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor dashboards and systems to ensure timely execution of clinical trials.
- Oversee resource allocation, site assignments, and team performance.
- Provide training on protocols, SOPs, and clinical guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Assess staff compliance and develop corrective action plans as needed.
- Handle people management activities, including hiring, performance reviews, and career coaching.
- Collaborate with investigators to ensure patient safety and study goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field required.
- Minimum 7 years of clinical research experience, with 2 years in management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, electronic health records, and web tools.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
- Experience managing site operations, KPIs, and employee performance.
- Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Open to relocation and on-site work arrangement.
