Overview
- Provide clinical supervision to a team of clinicians and deliver mental health services to clients aged 5 and up.
- Collaborate with leadership to plan and administer innovative mental health services in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, crisis interventions, and evidence-based treatment planning.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and adherence to state and federal regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement committees to enhance service delivery.
- Provide on-site clinical leadership during evening and weekend hours as required.
- Develop collaborative relationships with patients and community providers to encourage engagement and compliance.
- Support advocacy efforts and participate in continuing education and leadership meetings.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise clinicians and social work interns, providing weekly individual supervision and clinical support.
- Review and approve treatment plans, clinical assessments, and progress notes to ensure quality care.
- Conduct initial comprehensive assessments, facilitate groups, and provide outreach and advocacy services.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings and case conferences.
- Provide crisis intervention services and refer patients for psychiatric assessments as needed.
- Maintain program admissions, discharges, treatment plan tracking, and high-risk rosters.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, corporate policies, and OMH regulations during all activities.
- Deliver clinical/managerial coverage and address critical care needs collaboratively.
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work with LCSW/LCSW-R certification required.
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in healthcare settings, preferably outpatient mental health services.
- Proficiency in Spanish and familiarity with OMH/Article 31 Regulatory Standards preferred.
- Strong organizational, writing, and public speaking skills essential.
- Experience with evidence-based interventions and care management for acute/chronic mental health conditions.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and EMR systems required.
- SIFI certification strongly preferred.
- Availability for evening, weekend, and occasional on-call coverage.
