Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily radiology operations, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality imaging services.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Train and mentor radiology staff, promoting skill enhancement and adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and arrange maintenance or upgrades as necessary.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for patients and staff.
  • Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align radiology services with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Certification as RT (ARRT), CNMT (NMTCB), or RDMS (ARDMS).
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience; 4 years preferred.
  • Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
  • Strong knowledge of radiology operations and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams.
  • Proficiency in analyzing operational data and implementing improvements.
