Overview

  • Manage the closing of primary and secondary loans, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and address operational challenges effectively.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of middle-market and private credit trades, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve documentation and funding issues promptly.
  • Monitor settlement pipelines, providing updates and proactively addressing bottlenecks.
  • Reconcile financial data across systems to maintain settlement accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze operational issues, implementing enhancements to reduce risks and improve efficiency.
  • Support automation initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance loan lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage closing processes for primary allocations and middle-market/private credit trades, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive timely settlement of loan trades.
  • Validate trade documentation, including allocation notices, assignment agreements, and credit agreements.
  • Monitor open trades and settlement pipelines, providing real-time updates on timelines.
  • Reconcile financial data across systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance at settlement.
  • Analyze operational issues and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory obligations, and trading desk guidelines.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to support automation and data integrity initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–8 years of experience in Loan Operations or Trade Closing at relevant organizations.
  • Expertise in closing primary allocations and middle-market/private credit trades.
  • Strong understanding of industry documentation, settlement mechanics, and trade lifecycle processes.
  • Proficiency with systems like ClearPar, WSO, Allvue, LoanIQ, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage high-volume pipelines and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
