Overview

• Support complex intellectual property litigation cases, including ITC trials, ensuring efficient case management and document preparation.
• Coordinate trial logistics, including e-discovery, deposition materials, and document production for seamless proceedings.
• Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to streamline litigation processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct advanced legal research using industry-standard tools to support case strategies and arguments effectively.
• Manage and maintain databases, case files, and documentation for intellectual property litigation matters.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
• Contribute to organizational success by meeting billable hour targets and delivering cost-effective litigation support services.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare motions, trial binders, and litigation documents with precision and compliance to legal standards.
• Organize and review IP litigation materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
• Coordinate document productions and manage e-discovery databases for case materials effectively.
• Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including logistics and material compilation for successful proceedings.
• Provide support during trials, hearings, and depositions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Conduct factual research and compile findings to support case arguments and legal strategies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to enhance procedures and communication channels for litigation support.
• Handle additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by attorneys and management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with at least 10 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Minimum 7 years of specialized IP litigation experience, including ITC trial support.
• Advanced proficiency in legal research tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expert knowledge of IP litigation procedures, jurisdictional requirements, and agency processes.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with arbitration, appellate practice, and trial logistics coordination preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and travel as required to support case needs.
