Job Description

Overview

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for a program aimed at engaging medical students and residents in hematology career pathways.
  • Coordinate communications with platform vendors, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and collaboration facilitation.
  • Manage virtual community activities, including content posting, discussion monitoring, event coordination, and user engagement tracking.
  • Respond to inquiries in the program inbox, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
  • Maintain departmental databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure program objectives are met effectively.
  • Work in a hybrid environment with in-office presence on designated days.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate communications with the Horizons in Hematology platform vendor, ensuring smooth operations and issue resolution.
  • Administer the Horizons in Hematology virtual community, managing content, discussions, events, and updates.
  • Track and facilitate user engagement, ensuring active participation in the program.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and communications in the program inbox.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential departmental databases.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Support live events and updates within the virtual community platform.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience, preferably in non-profit settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Experience with digital networking and social media platforms for community engagement.
