Overview
- Coordinate and manage group lead opportunities within the hospitality industry, ensuring optimal revenue generation and client satisfaction.
- Source and respond to group RFPs, partnering with sales teams to deliver tailored solutions for franchisees.
- Utilize Salesforce and other tools to document activities and drive opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and confirm availability to secure group business.
- Provide high-touch service and proactive communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and achieve performance targets.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage a pipeline of group leads, qualifying and prioritizing opportunities across various channels.
- Document activities in Salesforce and ensure opportunities progress through the sales cycle.
- Develop and present proposals, negotiate terms, and confirm availability for group bookings.
- Conduct market research to recommend and cross-sell hotel options effectively.
- Provide custom reporting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Global Sales team to achieve incremental revenue and room night targets.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and advanced MS Office skills; familiarity with Cvent preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, conflict-resolution, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with AI tools and quick adoption of new technologies.
