Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate and manage group lead opportunities within the hospitality industry, ensuring optimal revenue generation and client satisfaction.
  • Source and respond to group RFPs, partnering with sales teams to deliver tailored solutions for franchisees.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools to document activities and drive opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and confirm availability to secure group business.
  • Provide high-touch service and proactive communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and achieve performance targets.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage a pipeline of group leads, qualifying and prioritizing opportunities across various channels.
  • Document activities in Salesforce and ensure opportunities progress through the sales cycle.
  • Develop and present proposals, negotiate terms, and confirm availability for group bookings.
  • Conduct market research to recommend and cross-sell hotel options effectively.
  • Provide custom reporting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Global Sales team to achieve incremental revenue and room night targets.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and advanced MS Office skills; familiarity with Cvent preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, conflict-resolution, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with AI tools and quick adoption of new technologies.
