Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform mammography and breast sonography procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging results and patient safety.
  • Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and expectations to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Assist physicians with interventional procedures, including biopsies and localizations.
  • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes, ensuring optimal care and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of imaging procedures and patient interactions.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Certification in Mammography (M), Breast Sonography (BS), or Breast Imaging Navigation by ARRT or ARDMS.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in mammography or breast sonography; 2 years preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to adhering to regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.
