Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures, ensuring precision and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care during procedures.
  • Maintain and operate radiology equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with standards.
  • Provide patient education and support, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort throughout procedures.
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance department performance and patient outcomes.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent in radiologic technology or related field.
  • Certified in Vascular-Interventional Radiology (VI), Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), or equivalent certifications.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in interventional procedures; 2 years preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider.
  • Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment and performing procedures.
  • Strong understanding of patient care protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
