Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily operations of surgical services, ensuring efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance perioperative care quality.
  • Monitor compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements within the department.
  • Provide training and education to staff on best practices and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and active Registered Nurse license in Oregon.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in patient care delivery and business operations.
  • At least two years of leadership experience in healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency in perioperative and surgical services operations.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; PALS certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of patient safety, compliance management, and evidence-based medicine principles.
  • Excellent skills in workforce planning, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare information systems.
