Overview

  • Lead construction projects with a focus on K-12 facilities, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to manage schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Oversee on-site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and construction codes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to optimize project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to leadership teams.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures during project execution.
  • Promote a culture of excellence and teamwork within the construction teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring alignment with project plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to address technical challenges.
  • Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment required for projects.
  • Implement quality control measures to uphold construction standards.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations on-site.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during construction phases.
  • Train and mentor junior staff to enhance team capabilities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience in overseeing K-12 construction projects.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations.
