Job Description

Overview

  • Support core accounting functions in a multinational context, ensuring compliance and efficiency in workflows and processes.
  • Collaborate with local accountants and tax teams to develop solutions and maintain documentation for international operations.
  • Provide support for consolidations, reconciliations, and key management reporting packages.
  • Assist in tax compliance and documentation maintenance, including inter-company agreements and transfer pricing.
  • Drive process improvements and resolve accounting issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with FP&A teams to acquire and prepare performance analysis information.
  • Work closely with international colleagues, ensuring smooth coordination and communication across regions.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation in accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Monitor accounting practices and workflows, ensuring compliance and consistency with firm standards.
  • Oversee month-end close processes and ensure timely reconciliations between systems.
  • Support tax compliance efforts, maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with the tax team.
  • Assist FP&A teams by acquiring and preparing necessary information for performance analysis.
  • Drive improvements in accounting processes and policies, resolving issues proactively.
  • Provide outstanding client service, meeting high-quality standards and exceeding expectations.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, maintaining strong interpersonal relationships and communication.
  • Work independently and take initiative to address challenges and meet deadlines.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of general accounting experience; multinational corporate accounting preferred.
  • CPA certification and public accounting experience are preferred qualifications.
  • Proficiency in large-scale ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Aderant preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based software.
  • Experience working with international colleagues, particularly in Europe or Asia, is advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines effectively.
