Senior Cloud Engineer

Overview

• Lead the implementation and support of cloud and on-premises enterprise platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement innovative cloud solutions and integrations.
• Provide third-level technical support for infrastructure projects, focusing on troubleshooting and timely problem resolution.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates to enhance automation and monitoring capabilities.
• Create detailed documentation and diagrams for cloud configurations, governance, and network topologies.
• Ensure compliance with security guidelines and best practices in cloud identity and access management.
• Support a 24×7 environment, monitoring system health and performance to ensure user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design and implement cloud and on-premises solutions, focusing on Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Maintain Azure AD infrastructure and ensure seamless integration with on-premises systems.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code templates for automation and monitoring.
• Monitor system health and performance, implementing proactive measures to optimize reliability.
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Document processes, configurations, and governance policies to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to security standards and best practices in cloud architecture.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with Microsoft Cloud certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft technologies, with expertise in Azure and M365 platforms.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM, Bicep, and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, security, and governance frameworks.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in enterprise environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead technical projects effectively.
• Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure such as SAN, VMware, and Veeam is desirable.
