Job Description

Overview

  • Provide expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and management within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Support the Transactions team in managing the full contract lifecycle remotely.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies while minimizing risks through effective contract management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance contract management processes and efficiencies.
  • Provide training and guidance on contract policies and procedures to internal clients.
  • Utilize contract management systems to maintain accurate data and streamline operations.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and systems for improved contract oversight.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize diverse contracts, including Master Services Agreements and Supply Agreements.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors to ensure feedback and approvals are gathered.
  • Monitor contractual deadlines and communicate with stakeholders to determine appropriate actions.
  • Process contract requests independently or with legal counsel, providing recommendations based on circumstances.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in contracts while adhering to organizational policies.
  • Support contract execution processes and maintain data in contract management systems.
  • Develop tools and strategies to improve efficiency and client service within the legal team.
  • Provide occasional training to internal clients on contract-related policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
  • Proficiency in contract management systems, preferably Agiloft, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of contract language, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience in preparing redlines and negotiating terms in contracts.
