Overview
- Administer and optimize Linux systems to ensure high availability and peak performance.

- Implement and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker technologies.
- Support hybrid cloud environments, including provisioning and integration tasks.
- Develop and maintain system configurations and operational documentation.
- Monitor system performance and ensure operational efficiency through proactive measures.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery systems to protect critical data.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for IT operations and processes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting for Linux server environments.
- Administer lifecycle management and patching to maintain system reliability.
- Optimize containerized workloads using orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Support hybrid cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
- Collaborate with development teams for version control and integration support.
- Document operational processes and maintain an updated knowledge base.
- Ensure system availability and data integrity through robust backup solutions.
- Integrate Linux systems with Windows infrastructure using Samba and Active Directory.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing Linux systems in production environments.
- Proficiency in shell scripting and Python for automation tasks.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Familiarity with integrating Linux systems with Windows infrastructure.
- Financial services industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday.
