Overview
- Provide individualized physical therapy programs for patients with acute and chronic conditions to enhance their quality of life and functional goals.
- Work in inpatient and outpatient settings under the supervision of rehabilitation services management.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and ancillary staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Evaluate and assess patients using evidence-based guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain.
- Educate patients and families about the recovery process and therapeutic techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care strategies.
- Support training initiatives for team members, volunteers, and students.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct patient evaluations and determine physical therapy diagnoses.

Job Requirements
- Master of Science in Physical Therapy or equivalent educational background.
- License in Physical Therapy (PT) from Virginia Department of Health Professions upon hire.
- CPR/BLS Certification within 30 days of hire.
- Entry-level experience in patient care preferred.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based physical therapy practices and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Ability to educate patients and families effectively on therapy processes.
- Commitment to maintaining accurate and timely patient records.
- Proficiency in adapting care plans to meet evolving patient needs.
