Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform oral health screenings and educate patients on maintaining optimal dental hygiene.
• Conduct X-rays, impressions, and radiograph development with precision and care.
• Sterilize dental instruments and prepare equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Remove plaque and tartar, clean teeth, and provide treatments to prevent gum disease.
• Analyze patient medical and dental histories to inform treatment plans and recommendations.
• Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and effective treatment delivery.
• Promote overall dental health and well-being through personalized patient education and care.
• Maintain detailed records of patient treatments and progress for accurate documentation.

Job Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Dental Hygiene or equivalent qualification.
• Valid dental hygienist certification and registration with relevant professional bodies.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental hygiene; 4 years preferred.
• Proficiency in conducting dental screenings, X-rays, and preventive care treatments.
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices and patient education techniques.
• Ability to maintain a sterile and safe environment for all dental procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and a comforting bedside manner to enhance patient experience.
