Overview
- Manage loan trade settlements across multiple funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate daily cash flows between trustees and treasury, maintaining seamless financial operations.
- Prepare and execute trade documents, including assignment agreements and funding memos.
- Collaborate with agents and counterparties to achieve timely settlement of transactions.
- Ensure all internal approvals are received and settlement documents are distributed appropriately.
- Understand complex corporate structures and coordinate tax form requests effectively.
- Assist with bond settlements, audit requests, and special projects as required.
- Contribute to procedure updates and continuous process improvements within the department.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Handle settlement processes, ensuring accuracy in cash disbursements and documentation.
- Monitor and coordinate daily cash flows between trustees and treasury teams.
- Prepare and review legal documentation, including credit agreements and loan parameters.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve settlement goals.
- Maintain compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and tax documentation requirements.
- Support audit processes and contribute to departmental projects and initiatives.
- Enhance operational efficiency through innovative mindset and industry knowledge application.
- Manage portfolio administration tasks, ensuring accuracy in daily processing activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in loan settlements; 3 years preferred.
- Proficiency in ClearPar and LSTA trade documentation is advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of broadly syndicated loans and credit agreements.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to address complex issues.
- Enthusiastic about contributing to a hybrid work culture and team collaboration.
