Job Description

Overview

  • Manage loan trade settlements across multiple funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate daily cash flows between trustees and treasury, maintaining seamless financial operations.
  • Prepare and execute trade documents, including assignment agreements and funding memos.
  • Collaborate with agents and counterparties to achieve timely settlement of transactions.
  • Ensure all internal approvals are received and settlement documents are distributed appropriately.
  • Understand complex corporate structures and coordinate tax form requests effectively.
  • Assist with bond settlements, audit requests, and special projects as required.
  • Contribute to procedure updates and continuous process improvements within the department.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Handle settlement processes, ensuring accuracy in cash disbursements and documentation.
  • Monitor and coordinate daily cash flows between trustees and treasury teams.
  • Prepare and review legal documentation, including credit agreements and loan parameters.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve settlement goals.
  • Maintain compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and tax documentation requirements.
  • Support audit processes and contribute to departmental projects and initiatives.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through innovative mindset and industry knowledge application.
  • Manage portfolio administration tasks, ensuring accuracy in daily processing activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in loan settlements; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in ClearPar and LSTA trade documentation is advantageous.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of broadly syndicated loans and credit agreements.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to address complex issues.
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to a hybrid work culture and team collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high-quality standards.
