Overview
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with communication and learning challenges.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct therapy sessions focusing on speech and pragmatic language skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student development and strategies.
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in speech therapy.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on communication techniques.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Speech and Hearing, or equivalent program.
- Maryland Speech License or eligibility at the time of hire.
- Experience with augmentative systems, Visualizing and Verbalizing, and Social Thinking techniques preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills for speech and language disorders.
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse needs and ages.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
