Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist the General Counsel with legal matters related to real estate, including leasing and litigation.
- Conduct legal research and draft reports, analysis, and presentations as required.
- Manage compliance and administrative law tasks to ensure organizational adherence to regulations.
- Handle landlord/tenant cases and transactional matters with precision and professionalism.
- Utilize strong computer literacy to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and execute assigned duties in a timely manner.
- Maintain organization and adaptability in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance legal expertise and capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, preferably in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; 7 years preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs and strong computer literacy.
- Experience in commercial leasing, landlord/tenant cases, transactional matters, and litigation.
- Fluency in a second language is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with great organization.
