Job Description

Overview

  • Provide talent acquisition support in a remote, part-time contract role.
  • Conduct interviews across various disciplines, including finance, sales, and engineering.
  • Assist in posting job openings and managing applicant tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to streamline communication and processes.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
  • Support special projects and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Work remotely with flexible scheduling options.
  • Gain experience in recruitment and onboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability and document feedback.
  • Post and manage job openings on various platforms with manager approval.
  • Refine job descriptions and collaborate with the Head of Talent Acquisition.
  • Promote job openings internally to encourage referrals.
  • Coordinate onboarding meetings and send pre-start communications to new hires.
  • Draft and distribute welcome announcements for new employees.
  • Pair new hires with onboarding buddies to facilitate their integration.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and escalate onboarding concerns.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in recruitment and onboarding.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage flexible schedules.
  • Experience in conducting interviews across multiple disciplines.
  • Knowledge of onboarding processes and employee engagement strategies.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
