Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to the tax operations of a leading investment advisory firm, ensuring compliance with corporate tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize tax strategies and support financial decision-making processes.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing tax filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Participate in tax audits and provide documentation and support as required.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, applying knowledge to improve compliance and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.
  • Support the team in analyzing tax implications of business transactions and corporate activities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research on tax issues and provide recommendations for tax planning strategies.
  • Assist in managing tax audits, including gathering and organizing required documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address tax-related inquiries and provide guidance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably within a Big 4 or national firm.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional on-site requirements.
