Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the clinical operations of perioperative services, ensuring exceptional patient care and adherence to healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for operational efficiency and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily operations of surgical services, ensuring efficient and safe patient care delivery.
  • Oversee resource allocation, including staffing, budgeting, and material management, to optimize department performance.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulatory requirements, including Title 22.
  • Lead interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes and operational workflows.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance clinical proficiency and professional growth.
  • Analyze operational challenges and implement effective solutions to enhance department efficiency.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within perioperative services.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Current California RN license and BLS provider card mandatory.
  • National certification in clinical area of expertise preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical leadership experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance and supervisory practices within healthcare settings.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage staff effectively and lead departmental culture enhancements.
