Job Description

Overview

  • Provide expert advice and assistance in contract drafting, review, and management throughout the entire contract lifecycle.
  • Support the Transactions team within Legal Affairs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize various contracts, including Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and Supply Agreements.
  • Act as liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Monitor contractual actions and deadlines, communicating with stakeholders to determine appropriate actions.
  • Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and systems for contract management.
  • Provide training to internal clients on contract policies and procedures as needed.
  • Contribute to improving client service and efficiency through strategic tools and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Manage contract lifecycle activities, including intake, processing, and execution.
  • Identify and mitigate risks by analyzing contract terms and conditions.
  • Maintain data within the contract management system and support execution processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to gather feedback and approvals.
  • Develop strategies to enhance contract management efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare training materials and deliver sessions on contract-related topics.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
  • Proficiency in contract management systems, preferably Agiloft.
  • Strong understanding of contract language, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience in redlining agreements and familiarity with sourcing and procurement contracts.
