Overview
- Provide expert advice and assistance in contract drafting, review, and management throughout the entire contract lifecycle.
- Support the Transactions team within Legal Affairs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize various contracts, including Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and Supply Agreements.
- Act as liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure business objectives are met.
- Monitor contractual actions and deadlines, communicating with stakeholders to determine appropriate actions.
- Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and systems for contract management.
- Provide training to internal clients on contract policies and procedures as needed.
- Contribute to improving client service and efficiency through strategic tools and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Manage contract lifecycle activities, including intake, processing, and execution.
- Identify and mitigate risks by analyzing contract terms and conditions.
- Maintain data within the contract management system and support execution processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to gather feedback and approvals.
- Develop strategies to enhance contract management efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare training materials and deliver sessions on contract-related topics.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
- Proficiency in contract management systems, preferably Agiloft.
- Strong understanding of contract language, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience in redlining agreements and familiarity with sourcing and procurement contracts.
