Job Description

Overview

  • Lead clinical operations at a vascular surgery center, ensuring exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage clinical and clerical staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
  • Coordinate patient flow across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative stages for optimal outcomes.
  • Oversee procurement and inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to AAAHC, CMS, and Life Safety Code standards.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare for accreditation surveys and audits, maintaining compliance documentation.
  • Support development and implementation of clinical policies and safety plans.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily clinical activities, ensuring high-quality and compassionate patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians to optimize workflow and scheduling.
  • Monitor infection control practices and adherence to evidence-based protocols.
  • Lead staff onboarding, education, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee procurement of medical supplies and controlled substances.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels to support daily procedures.
  • Prepare for regulatory surveys, maintaining policies and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow and patient satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Current California RN license in good standing.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Minimum three years of ambulatory surgery experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least one year of administrative or management experience.
  • Knowledge of AAAHC accreditation standards and CMS regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and scheduling systems preferred.
  • Training in sterile processing or infection control practices is advantageous.
