Overview
- Lead clinical operations at a vascular surgery center, ensuring exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Manage clinical and clerical staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Coordinate patient flow across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative stages for optimal outcomes.
- Oversee procurement and inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to AAAHC, CMS, and Life Safety Code standards.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Prepare for accreditation surveys and audits, maintaining compliance documentation.
- Support development and implementation of clinical policies and safety plans.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise daily clinical activities, ensuring high-quality and compassionate patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians to optimize workflow and scheduling.
- Monitor infection control practices and adherence to evidence-based protocols.
- Lead staff onboarding, education, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee procurement of medical supplies and controlled substances.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to support daily procedures.
- Prepare for regulatory surveys, maintaining policies and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow and patient satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- Current California RN license in good standing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum three years of ambulatory surgery experience as a Registered Nurse.
- At least one year of administrative or management experience.
- Knowledge of AAAHC accreditation standards and CMS regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records and scheduling systems preferred.
- Training in sterile processing or infection control practices is advantageous.
