Job Description

Overview

  • Support a growing alternatives platform across Private Equity, Private Credit, and Insurance investment strategies.
  • Maintain accurate fund books and records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Execute monthly and quarterly fund closes, including reconciliations and NAV calculations.
  • Collaborate with investment teams and stakeholders to optimize processes and deliverables.
  • Oversee third-party administrators and manage audit processes effectively.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Own the monthly and quarterly close processes for assigned funds and vehicles.
  • Prepare and review capital calls, distributions, and investor allocation schedules.
  • Calculate and review management fees, incentive fees, and fund economics.
  • Lead preparation of financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Coordinate year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Support regulatory and client reporting requirements, including relevant filings.
  • Oversee deliverables from third-party administrators to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and implement process improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA certification preferred, with strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • 2–4 years of fund accounting or audit experience within alternatives.
  • Experience with private equity, credit, or insurance investment platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency in fund accounting systems such as Allvue, Investran, or similar.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
