Job Description

Overview

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the legal team, focusing on counterparty trading documentation.
  • Assist with document management, knowledge management, and reporting for legal operations.
  • Draft and manage trading documentation, including prime brokerage agreements and ISDAs.
  • Maintain and update information in online databases and manage electronic signatures.
  • Support KYC/AML processes and oversee external service providers.
  • Prepare reports and synthesize information for legal and operational purposes.
  • Provide overflow support for governance, fund formation, and investment documentation.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal team members to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft and manage trading documentation using established templates and precedents.
  • Apply electronic signatures and manage document categorization schemes.
  • Track negotiation statuses and prepare responses to KYC/AML requests.
  • Maintain and update the legal team’s knowledge base and document library.
  • Prepare lists, charts, and reports synthesizing information about funds and counterparties.
  • Assist with governance, fund formation/dissolution, and investment documentation.
  • Analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources for clear reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience, with 5 years preferred, in trading documentation roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Knowledge of KYC/AML processes and legal entity structures.
  • Experience with document management systems and online databases.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
