Interior Architect

Overview

• Work as an Interior Architect, contributing to innovative design solutions for diverse projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate construction methods, budgets, and technical aspects into designs.
• Lead client-facing presentations and ensure timely delivery of plans and specifications.
• Develop interior design concepts for small to medium-sized projects, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Evaluate and select materials while consulting with manufacturer representatives.
• Coordinate FF&E selection and specifications, ensuring quality and project alignment.
• Provide guidance to team members on design and technical detailing.
• Participate in construction administration activities to ensure project success.
• Support project management in developing schedules and work plans.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Create and deliver client-facing presentations showcasing design concepts and solutions.
• Coordinate the delivery of designs, plans, and specifications to meet project objectives.
• Develop interior design concepts for small to medium-sized projects, integrating multidisciplinary inputs.
• Evaluate and select materials, consulting with manufacturer representatives for optimal choices.
• Lead FF&E selection and specification processes to ensure project alignment.
• Provide design and technical detailing guidance to team members, fostering skill development.
• Participate in construction administration activities to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Assist project management in developing schedules and work plans for efficient project execution.
• Contribute to business development efforts and foster relationships within the design community.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience, with 12 years preferred, in interior architecture.
• Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to interior architecture.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and FF&E specifications.
• Experience in client-facing presentations and project coordination.
• Ability to mentor team members and contribute to their professional development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth in interior architecture.
• Willingness to work on-site and engage actively in project activities.
