Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a Senior Credit Analyst within the Investment Grade Corporate Credit Research team.
  • Utilize fundamental credit research to evaluate investment opportunities and monitor existing positions.
  • Focus on Healthcare and Insurance sectors while contributing to broader portfolio strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop holistic approaches to credit selection.
  • Report findings and strategies to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Engage with external sources like rating agencies and analysts for insights.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and departmental projects.
  • Contribute to the organization’s investment goals and risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct in-depth fundamental credit analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Provide timely buy/hold/sell recommendations for primary and secondary market opportunities.
  • Analyze investment opportunities considering exposure, maturity, and relative value.
  • Evaluate and report on assigned portfolio credits’ financial results and news.
  • Interact with external entities to gain insights into credits and sectors.
  • Drive departmental projects and contribute to process enhancements.
  • Respond to information requests and perform portfolio analyses for transparency.
  • Support team efforts in aligning investment strategies with organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of credit research experience, preferably in Healthcare.
  • Experience with rating agencies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate opinions and influence decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
